If you become involved in car accidents and the traffic police report finds you at fault and you will be considered liable for breaching traffic rules, then the TPL insurance covers you against the financial liabilities claimed by third parties involved in the accident and any damaged others property.

What is Third Party Liability (TPL) car insurance?

Yes, the law in Uzbekistan stipulates mandatory purchase of a TPL insurance policy. Vehicles cannot be operated without TPL insurance.

Is buying Third Party Liability (TPL) insurance required by law in Uzbekistan for drivers?

Insurance cost depends on the car type, engine capacity, your driving region and the type of coverage you choose. You can get a quote for your car in 5 minutes by following the steps indicated in the website. However, the policy cost varies from 56 thousand UZS to more than 200 thousand UZS. (depending on the car type (i.e. cargo or van, etc) and location) (calculator)

How much will TPL insurance cost me?

No. The policy does not cover medical expenses. However, it covers damage to health in case of which the policy holder or other claiming injured person is eligible for fixed compensation payments in accordance with the clauses of the policy.

Does INSON’s TPL insurance pay for medical treatments due to accident injuries?

No, the insurance policy is effective only in Uzbekistan.

Does the TPL insurance cover accidents outside Uzbekistan?

Follow the steps indicated in the online section of the website for TPL, or download the INSON app to your phone and follow the steps indicated thereon. You will need to supply photos of your personal ID or passport, car registration ID and photos of your car from different angles.

How do I buy TPL insurance online?

No. For now there is no possibility of discounts. We may announce about other possible rewards in future. Please, keep in touch with INSON.

Do I save when I buy insurance for 12 months instead of 6 months?

See the expiry date on your insurance policy to find the exact date it ends. You will also be reminded of your policy’s expiry date. When your renewal date comes you can renew it online with simply and easy steps on our website or mobile application.

When and where do I renew my insurance policy?

You, or the other drivers, involved in an accident should immediately call the traffic police and our hotline to report the accident. Afterwards, you should submit all the accident related documents from police to INSON’s authorized representatives at branches or headquarters.

What should I do if I’m in a car accident?

You’ll need to open our mobile app and click on the claims button, which will then show you the steps you will need to do before submitting the claim. The steps include taking photos of the damaged areas in the cars affected by the accident from different angles, which you would then upload along with the police report.

What do I do with the police accident report?

You have to report to INSON about any car accidents involving your car, even if there is no your fault. We will need you to upload the photos of the damaged parts of your car and other cars along with the police report in all cases.

Do I only report about accidents that the police report refers top my liability?

If the police accident report puts the blame on the other drivers, their insurers supposed to cover your damages. But if you have CASCO insurance then you might be eligible for indemnification if the damage covered appropriately by your CASCO policy.

Who covers my car damages if I’m not responsible for the accident?

Not for now. However, you might be charged more in the future.

If an accident is my fault, does my TPL premium increase when I renew my insurance?

Not for now. However, you might be eligible for discount in the future.

If I don’t have any accident, does my TPL insurance premium drop when I renew it?

Yes, you may buy a TPL policy for yourself if your car is leased by the bank or leasing company.

Can I buy TPL for a car owned by the bank?

Not for now. However, you might be eligible for discount in the future. However, we may give some discount for other products like personal accident, travel or household insurance.

Are there benefits for not claiming insurance when I have accidents?

We may give attractive discounts for other products like CASCO, personal accident, travel or household insurance.

Do I get any discounts for buying multiple TPL insurance policies for different cars in my name? And do I get discounts when all my family uses only INSON for their car insurance?
